POP-IN SERVICES

 

Our Pop-in Service is a friendly pop-in that will normally take from 1 to a maximum of 3 hours according to the Clients’ needs.

The Pop-in service is all about a friendly check that all is well, alongside spending some quality time together. It may also include:

An accompanied walk in the vicinity

 

Bringing in and sorting of the post

 

Building puzzles

 

Caring for house plants

 

Checking a client has taken their medication

 

Making the client’s bed

 

Help the client to get dressed

 

Prepare a snack for tea time.

 

Helping with letter writing/correspondence

 

Just being present for a friendly conversation over a cup of tea/coffee

 

Listening to an audio book or reading a book together

 

Monitoring home safety

 

Peeling, chopping of vegetables/fruit

 

Doing emergency washing like pajamas and underwear

 

Body care – maintain hands and feet

 

Playing board games

 

Sharing stories, memories and experiences

 

Taking out the garbage

 

Tidying the kitchen and the bathroom

 

Watching a movie together

 

Help the client to shower/bath, wash and dry their hair

 

Preparation of light meals (breakfast/lunch or supper)

 

TAKE NOTE that Dewcare is a Caring Service and not a Domestic Service. Therefore, the personal care and wellbeing of our Clients will always be our priority.
